Terms of Service
Last updated: December 21, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the ValueYourCar web app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms are governed by Dutch Law.
2. Nature of the Service (The "Estimate" Clause)
ValueYourCar provides automated vehicle valuations based on the data you provide (license plate, mileage, condition) and market trends.
- Not an Offer: The valuation provided is an indicative estimate only. It is not a binding offer to purchase your car by ValueYourCar or any third party.
- Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, market conditions change rapidly. We do not guarantee that you will be able to sell your car for the estimated price.
3. User Responsibilities
To get an accurate result, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information about the vehicle's condition and history.
- Use the service for personal, non-commercial use (unless otherwise agreed).
- Not use the app to "scrape" data or perform automated searches.
4. Intellectual Property
The design, logo, and valuation algorithms of ValueYourCar are the property of ValueYourCar. You may use the valuation reports for personal use, but you may not republish our data for commercial purposes without permission.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, ValueYourCar is not liable for:
- Any financial loss resulting from a car sale or purchase based on our valuation.
- Technical issues that make the app temporarily unavailable.
- Information provided by third-party data sources (e.g., car specifications or market data).
6. Privacy & Data
Your use of this service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Any communication regarding your account will be sent from our [email protected] or [email protected] addresses.
7. Changes to Service
We may update the app or these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the app.
8. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be settled by the competent court in the district where ValueYourCar is registered.
